The following table is a
comparison chart made using
MotoCalc to compare various motor/prop combos. The
batteries used for the calculations are the E-Tec 1200ma LiPo packs.
For the 3s2p configuration, the Thunder Power 3s1p 2100ma LiPo pack would
work very well also. These numbers are an estimation of the
performance you might expect from the combos. Your performance may
vary depending on battery choice, altitude, prop, etc. Amp draws and
thrust figures are for full throttle settings. Obviously, lower power
settings are primarily used during the course of a typical 3D type flight.
Full power is generally only used for those impressive "rocketship punchouts"
and bailing out of a "maneuver gone bad". However, the
chart will give you a very good idea of what to expect from each combo, and
will assist in the purchase of appropriate items.
