44 inch span Extra 300 Prototype after successful test flight Hello, my name is Tim Hart. I started Foamy Factory Models with one goal in mind. To bring high performance foam models to the forefront of the modeling scene. For years, foam and high performance were two words generally not associated with one another. With the advent of lightweight electric motors, and the leaps and bounds made in battery technology, electric foam aircraft have come of age. New construction materials and methods have also fueled the spark for the explosion of these fantastic foam flying machines on the R/C scene. Front yard, Back yard, Park, Gymnasium, it doesn’t matter, foam is here to stay! It’s cheap, lightweight, easy to work with and just “plane” fun! No need to drag all of the big bulky planes and flying equipment to the flying field for a bit of “relaxation”. These planes can be flown just about anywhere. They are small enough to fly in most any open space, yet deliver all of the thrills and excitement of their bigger brothers. The light weight yet incredibly strong construction methods allow you to try those “impossible” maneuvers you are reluctant to try with the larger more expensive models. I have been building, flying and designing model aircraft for almost 20 years, and I'm having a blast with Foamy Factory Models. My "real" job keeps me pretty busy, so I try to update the site as often as I can. Currently, I'm a BE1900D Captain with Air Midwest Airlines based in Hobbs, New Mexico. I pretty much live, eat, breath, and sleep airplanes. I just can't get enough! If you see the airplane below, wave... It just might be me...
More park flyer models will be added to the website as time allows. I have big plans for Foamy Factory Models, so stay tuned and check back often! I hope you enjoy building and flying Foamy Factory Airplanes as much as I do! Fly safe and have fun!
